The Pony Express

The student newspaper includes news of interest to the Panola College community from 1948 to 2009.

The Pony

Panola College's The Pony yearbook was first published in 1950 and was published annually through 1990. Due to the lack of student support and the rise of social media, The Pony was discontinued. The Pony did briefly return in 2017 with one final yearbook. Photos from Panola College events, performances, and games are now archived on the Panola College Flickr account.

Interviews about life in the 1970s of African American communities in the Panola County area.

The Loblolly

Gary High School students created this publication for the purpose of preserving and providing information about their community's past so that they may better understand the present world.

Panola Oral Histories

This collection of oral history was created by students interviewing local people and family members.
Topics include The Great Depression, World War II, The Korean War, Vietnam War, Panola College, local historical events and general family recollections.
Interview years range from 1986 to 1999.
