What is the SEC?

The SEC is a collection of tools proven to increase student engagement.  They range from no tech to super tech savvy. All items are located on the first floor of the library.

Low Tech

If you're tired of lecturing all day but struggle with technology, check out our low tech tools. These are guaranteed to create student engagement without requiring you to learn fancy computer skills.

Who can use the SEC?

Any faculty and adjunct faculty member can borrow items from the SEC. They check-out for two-weeks at a time.  The library can renew your items if you need them longer.

High Tech

If you're a tech savvy professor looking for new ways to engage students, check out our high tech tools.

What if I don't know how to use the gadgets?

Each tool comes complete with instructions and many include a link to videos to help you implement them. Contact Julie Green for hands-on help at jgreen@panola.edu.
